In the same &quot;group&quot; as Loews and even Berkshire. Great management that understands how to allocate capital. Its all a matter of 1) if you agree with their investing style (value), 2)what assets they own, and 3)how the market is valuing the parent. I haven&#39;t taken a detailed look at LUK, but I know right off the bat they have number 1 and likely 2. Its just a matter of valuing them. The market usually discounts the value of the parent, and its up to management to unlock that value by putting more cash to work or returning it to shareholders. I&#39;m personally just more familiar with Loews and am comfortable with what they own and feel its a good buy. When I get some time, I&#39;ll take a deeper look at LUK, and maybe it is something worth adding to the portfolio. The 12 men on the field penalty was huge and never should have happened coming out of a time out. <br /><br />Ultimately the turnovers were the difference in this game. Peterson fumbles on the 5 yard line before the half, no points. And New Orleans scores 2 tds in the second half, one off of a huge kickoff return and the second on the harvin fumble that gives them the ball at the 7 yard line. I thought the Vikes D played pretty dang good in the 2nd half. <br /><br />Unfortunately, many will blame Favre for this game, and that last pick was inexcusable, but that&#39;s Favre. Without him, they wouldn&#39;t even be close to that position. I don&#39;t think any other QB would be in after that hit he took. Pretty awesome, and that&#39;s why people love him. <br /><br />As a fan, its difficult, especially knowing for the most part, they outplayed New Orleans in a tough environment. I guess the quesiton may come down to this: What matters more to you in a brokerage, 1) Features and Customer Service, or 2) Commissions, Fees and Overall Costs?<br /><br />Personally I like a good combination of low costs and good customer service, but don&#39;t care much about research and analysis.
